At-Tawbah 9:38 يا ايها الذين امنوا ما لكم اذا قيل لكم انفروا في سبيل الله اثاقلتم الى الارض ارضيتم بالحياة الدنيا من الاخرة فما متاع الحياة الدنيا في الاخرة الا قليل ٣٨
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُواْ
مَا
لَكُمۡ
إِذَا
قِيلَ
لَكُمُ
ٱنفِرُواْ
فِي
سَبِيلِ
ٱللَّهِ
ٱثَّاقَلۡتُمۡ
إِلَى
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
أَرَضِيتُم
بِٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
مِنَ
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ
فَمَا
مَتَٰعُ
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
فِي
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
إِلَّا
قَلِيلٌ
٣٨
Yã kũ waɗanda suka yi ĩmãni! Mẽne ne a gare ku, idan ance muku, "Ku fita da yãƙi a cikin hanyar Allah," sai ku yi nauyi1 zuwa ga ƙasa. Shin, kun yarda da rãyuwar dũniya ne daga ta Lãhira? To jin dãɗin rãyuwar dũniya bai zama ba a cikin Lãhira, fãce kaɗan.

Admonishing clinging to Life rather than rushing to perform Jihad
Allah admonishes those who lagged behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the battle of Tabuk, at a time when fruits were ripe and shades tempting in the intense and terrible heat,
