At-Tawbah 9:39 الا تنفروا يعذبكم عذابا اليما ويستبدل قوما غيركم ولا تضروه شييا والله على كل شيء قدير ٣٩
إِلَّا
تَنفِرُواْ
يُعَذِّبۡكُمۡ
عَذَابًا
أَلِيمٗا
وَيَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ
قَوۡمًا
غَيۡرَكُمۡ
وَلَا
تَضُرُّوهُ
شَيۡـٔٗاۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
عَلَىٰ
كُلِّ
شَيۡءٖ
قَدِيرٌ
٣٩
Ако не будете ишли у бој, Он ће да вас стави на несносне муке и другим ће народом да вас замени, а ви нећете нимало да Му наудите. А Аллах има моћ над свим.

Admonishing clinging to Life rather than rushing to perform Jihad
Allah admonishes those who lagged behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the battle of Tabuk, at a time when fruits were ripe and shades tempting in the intense and terrible heat,
