At-Tawbah 9:39 الا تنفروا يعذبكم عذابا اليما ويستبدل قوما غيركم ولا تضروه شييا والله على كل شيء قدير ٣٩
إِلَّا
تَنفِرُواْ
يُعَذِّبۡكُمۡ
عَذَابًا
أَلِيمٗا
وَيَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ
قَوۡمًا
غَيۡرَكُمۡ
وَلَا
تَضُرُّوهُ
شَيۡـٔٗاۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
عَلَىٰ
كُلِّ
شَيۡءٖ
قَدِيرٌ
٣٩
Jos ette lähde Jumalan retkelle, Hän on langettava teille tuskallisen tuomion ja valitseva sijaanne toisen kansan, ettekä te kykene vahingoittamaan Häntä vähääkään. Sillä Jumala pystyy tekemään kaikki halunsa mukaan.

Admonishing clinging to Life rather than rushing to perform Jihad
Allah admonishes those who lagged behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the battle of Tabuk, at a time when fruits were ripe and shades tempting in the intense and terrible heat,
