At-Tawbah 9:42 لو كان عرضا قريبا وسفرا قاصدا لاتبعوك ولاكن بعدت عليهم الشقة وسيحلفون بالله لو استطعنا لخرجنا معكم يهلكون انفسهم والله يعلم انهم لكاذبون ٤٢
لَوۡ
كَانَ
عَرَضٗا
قَرِيبٗا
وَسَفَرٗا
قَاصِدٗا
لَّٱتَّبَعُوكَ
وَلَٰكِنۢ
بَعُدَتۡ
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ٱلشُّقَّةُۚ
وَسَيَحۡلِفُونَ
بِٱللَّهِ
لَوِ
ٱسۡتَطَعۡنَا
لَخَرَجۡنَا
مَعَكُمۡ
يُهۡلِكُونَ
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
وَٱللَّهُ
يَعۡلَمُ
إِنَّهُمۡ
لَكَٰذِبُونَ
٤٢
Hadde det dreiet seg om lettvunnen vinning og en kort ekspedisjon, så ville de nok fulgt deg. Men avstanden forekom dem stor. Og de vil sverge ved Gud: «Hadde vi kunnet, ville vi dratt ut med dere.» De styrter seg i fortapelsen. Gud vet at de lyver.
