At-Tawbah 9:43 عفا الله عنك لم اذنت لهم حتى يتبين لك الذين صدقوا وتعلم الكاذبين ٤٣
عَفَا
ٱللَّهُ
عَنكَ
لِمَ
أَذِنتَ
لَهُمۡ
حَتَّىٰ
يَتَبَيَّنَ
لَكَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
صَدَقُواْ
وَتَعۡلَمَ
ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ
٤٣
अल्लाह ने (ऐ नबी!) आपको क्षमा कर दिया, आपने उन्हें क्यों अनुमति दी, यहाँ तक कि आपके लिए वे लोग स्पष्ट हो जाते जिन्होंने सच कहा और आप झूठे लोगों को जान लेते।

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that `Awn said, "Have you heard criticism softer than this, starting with forgiveness before criticism,
عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنكَ لِمَ أَذِنتَ لَهُمْ
(May Allah forgive you. Why did you grant them leave...)"
