At-Tawbah 9:46 ۞ ولو ارادوا الخروج لاعدوا له عدة ولاكن كره الله انبعاثهم فثبطهم وقيل اقعدوا مع القاعدين ٤٦
۞ وَلَوۡ
أَرَادُواْ
ٱلۡخُرُوجَ
لَأَعَدُّواْ
لَهُۥ
عُدَّةٗ
وَلَٰكِن
كَرِهَ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمۡ
فَثَبَّطَهُمۡ
وَقِيلَ
ٱقۡعُدُواْ
مَعَ
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
٤٦
Jos he olisivat halunneet lähteä retkelle, he olisivat varmasti ryhtyneet varusteluihin, mutta Jumalalle oli vastenmielinen heidän lähtönsä ja Hän teki heidät hitaiksi, ja heille sanottiin: »Jääkää niiden luokse, jotka paikoillaan pysyvät!»

Allah said,
وَلَوْ أَرَادُواْ الْخُرُوجَ
(And if they had intended to march out,), with you to participate in Jihad
لأَعَدُّواْ لَهُ عُدَّةً
(certainly, they would have made some preparation for it) they would have prepared for such task,
وَلَـكِن كَرِهَ اللَّهُ انبِعَاثَهُمْ
