At-Tawbah 9:52 قل هل تربصون بنا الا احدى الحسنيين ونحن نتربص بكم ان يصيبكم الله بعذاب من عنده او بايدينا فتربصوا انا معكم متربصون ٥٢
قُلۡ
هَلۡ
تَرَبَّصُونَ
بِنَآ
إِلَّآ
إِحۡدَى
ٱلۡحُسۡنَيَيۡنِۖ
وَنَحۡنُ
نَتَرَبَّصُ
بِكُمۡ
أَن
يُصِيبَكُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
بِعَذَابٖ
مِّنۡ
عِندِهِۦٓ
أَوۡ
بِأَيۡدِينَاۖ
فَتَرَبَّصُوٓاْ
إِنَّا
مَعَكُم
مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ
٥٢
Spune: „Ce aşteptaţi voi, pentru noi, alta decât unul din cele două lucruri minunate1? Iar noi aşteptăm ca Allah să vă lovească cu osândă dureroasă2, fie de la El, fie prin mâinile noastre. Aşadar aşteptaţi! Dar şi noi suntem în aşteptare împreună cu voi!”

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
قُلْ
(Say), O Muhammad to them,
هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَآ
(Do you wait for us), anything,
إِلاَ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ
(except one of the two best things), martyrdom or victory over you, according to the meaning given by Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid, Qatadah, and others.
وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ
(while we awai
