At-Tawbah 9:52 قل هل تربصون بنا الا احدى الحسنيين ونحن نتربص بكم ان يصيبكم الله بعذاب من عنده او بايدينا فتربصوا انا معكم متربصون ٥٢
قُلۡ
هَلۡ
تَرَبَّصُونَ
بِنَآ
إِلَّآ
إِحۡدَى
ٱلۡحُسۡنَيَيۡنِۖ
وَنَحۡنُ
نَتَرَبَّصُ
بِكُمۡ
أَن
يُصِيبَكُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
بِعَذَابٖ
مِّنۡ
عِندِهِۦٓ
أَوۡ
بِأَيۡدِينَاۖ
فَتَرَبَّصُوٓاْ
إِنَّا
مَعَكُم
مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ
٥٢
Muvugishwamana! Bwira izo ndyarya uti: “Mbega ni igiki murindiriye ko kidushikira kiretse kimwe mu vyiza bibiri; ugupfira Imana Allah canke kuronka intsinzi ku rugamba, mu gihe twebwe turindiriye ko mushikirwa n’ibihano vy’Imana Allah bikabahonya canke tukabicira ku rugamba! Nimurindire rero, na twe mu vy’ukuri turarindiranye hamwe na mwe ico Imana Allah Igiye gukora”.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
قُلْ
(Say), O Muhammad to them,
هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَآ
(Do you wait for us), anything,
إِلاَ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ
(except one of the two best things), martyrdom or victory over you, according to the meaning given by Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid, Qatadah, and others.
وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ
(while we awai
