At-Tawbah 9:86 واذا انزلت سورة ان امنوا بالله وجاهدوا مع رسوله استاذنك اولو الطول منهم وقالوا ذرنا نكن مع القاعدين ٨٦
وَإِذَآ
أُنزِلَتۡ
سُورَةٌ
أَنۡ
ءَامِنُواْ
بِٱللَّهِ
وَجَٰهِدُواْ
مَعَ
رَسُولِهِ
ٱسۡتَـٔۡذَنَكَ
أُوْلُواْ
ٱلطَّوۡلِ
مِنۡهُمۡ
وَقَالُواْ
ذَرۡنَا
نَكُن
مَّعَ
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
٨٦
Ir kai sūra (Korano skyrius) yra apreiškiamas, įsakantis jiems patikėti Allahą ir stengtis stipriai bei kovoti kartu su Jo Pasiuntiniu, turtingieji iš jų prašo tavo leidimo atleisti juos (nuo džihado) ir sako: „Palik mus (užnugaryje), mes būsime su tais, kurie sėdi (namuose).“

Admonishing Those Who did not join the Jihad
Allah chastises and admonishes those who stayed away from Jihad and refrained from performing it, even though they had the supplies, means and ability to join it. They asked the Messenger for permission to stay behind, saying,
