Chapter 43, Page 490, Juz 25

16. Is it that He has adopted daughters from those whom He has created, and chosen you for (having) sons? 17. When one of them is given the good news of (the birth of) that which he has attributed to RaHmān (i.e. the daughters), his face turns black, and he becomes choked with sorrow. 18. Is it that (Allah has chosen) those (as His offspring) who are grown up in ornaments and who cannot express themselves in debate clearly? 19. They have held angels, who are the servants of RaHmān, as females. Have they witnessed their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned. 20. They say, “Had the RaHmān so willed, we would not have worshipped them.” They have no knowledge of that. They do nothing but make conjectures. 21. Or have We given to them a book before this, and they are adhering to it? 22. Instead, they say, “We have found our fathers on a certain way, and we are on their footprints, fully guided.” 23. Similarly, We did not send a warner to a town before you, but its affluent people said, “We have found our fathers on a certain way, and we are following their footprints.” 24. He said, “Even if I bring to you something better in guidance than that on which you have found your fathers?” They said, “We totally disbelieve in what you are sent with.” 25. So, We took revenge from them. Now look, how was the end of those who rejected (Our messengers).
