Al-An'am 6:60 وهو الذي يتوفاكم بالليل ويعلم ما جرحتم بالنهار ثم يبعثكم فيه ليقضى اجل مسمى ثم اليه مرجعكم ثم ينبيكم بما كنتم تعملون ٦٠
وَهُوَ
ٱلَّذِي
يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم
بِٱلَّيۡلِ
وَيَعۡلَمُ
مَا
جَرَحۡتُم
بِٱلنَّهَارِ
ثُمَّ
يَبۡعَثُكُمۡ
فِيهِ
لِيُقۡضَىٰٓ
أَجَلٞ
مُّسَمّٗىۖ
ثُمَّ
إِلَيۡهِ
مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ
ثُمَّ
يُنَبِّئُكُم
بِمَا
كُنتُمۡ
تَعۡمَلُونَ
٦٠
Él es Quien toma vuestras almas por la noche (cuando dormís) y sabe lo que habéis hecho durante el día. Después os las devuelve para que completéis el plazo (de vida) que ha decretado para vosotros. Luego retornaréis a Él (el Día de la Resurrección) y os informará sobre lo que hicisteis (durante la vida mundanal).

The Servants are in Allah's Hands Before and After Death
Allah states that He brings death to His servants in their sleep at night, for sleep is minor death. Allah said in other Ayat,
