Al-An'am 6:60 وهو الذي يتوفاكم بالليل ويعلم ما جرحتم بالنهار ثم يبعثكم فيه ليقضى اجل مسمى ثم اليه مرجعكم ثم ينبيكم بما كنتم تعملون ٦٠
وَهُوَ
ٱلَّذِي
يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم
بِٱلَّيۡلِ
وَيَعۡلَمُ
مَا
جَرَحۡتُم
بِٱلنَّهَارِ
ثُمَّ
يَبۡعَثُكُمۡ
فِيهِ
لِيُقۡضَىٰٓ
أَجَلٞ
مُّسَمّٗىۖ
ثُمَّ
إِلَيۡهِ
مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ
ثُمَّ
يُنَبِّئُكُم
بِمَا
كُنتُمۡ
تَعۡمَلُونَ
٦٠
Él es Quien toma sus almas por la noche (cuando duermen) y sabe lo que han hecho durante el día. Después se las devuelve para que completen el plazo (de vida) que ha decretado para ustedes. Luego retornarán a Él (el Día de la Resurrección) y les informará sobre lo que hicieron (durante la vida mundanal).

The Servants are in Allah's Hands Before and After Death
Allah states that He brings death to His servants in their sleep at night, for sleep is minor death. Allah said in other Ayat,
