Al-Baqarah 2:92 ۞ ولقد جاءكم موسى بالبينات ثم اتخذتم العجل من بعده وانتم ظالمون ٩٢
۞ وَلَقَدۡ
جَآءَكُم
مُّوسَىٰ
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
ثُمَّ
ٱتَّخَذۡتُمُ
ٱلۡعِجۡلَ
مِنۢ
بَعۡدِهِۦ
وَأَنتُمۡ
ظَٰلِمُونَ
٩٢
Y, ciertamente, Moisés os aportó pruebas evidentes (para que creyerais en él). Sin embargo, adorasteis el becerro en su ausencia y fuisteis injustos (al hacerlo).

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Although The Jews denied the Truth, They claimed to be Believers!
Allah said,
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ
(And when it is said to them), meaning, the Jews and the People of the Book,
ءَامِنُواْ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ
(Believe in what Allah has sent down) to Muhammad , believe in and follow him,
قَالُواْ نُؤْمِنُ
