Al-Qasas 28:55 واذا سمعوا اللغو اعرضوا عنه وقالوا لنا اعمالنا ولكم اعمالكم سلام عليكم لا نبتغي الجاهلين ٥٥
وَإِذَا
سَمِعُواْ
ٱللَّغۡوَ
أَعۡرَضُواْ
عَنۡهُ
وَقَالُواْ
لَنَآ
أَعۡمَٰلُنَا
وَلَكُمۡ
أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡ
سَلَٰمٌ
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
لَا
نَبۡتَغِي
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
٥٥
Y si oyen cualquier banalidad (o palabras ofensivas contra ellos), se alejan (de quienes las pronuncian) y dicen: «Obtendremos la recompensa de nuestras acciones y vosotros, la vuestra. La paz esté con vosotros (no vamos a responderos de la misma manera, pero no queremos saber nada de vosotros); no queremos trato con los ignorantes».

The Believers among the People of the Book
Allah tells us that the pious scholars among the People of the Book believe in the Qur'an, as He says:
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَـهُمُ الْكِتَـبَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ
(Those to whom We gave the Book recite it as it should be recite
