Ar-Ra'd 13:32 ولقد استهزي برسل من قبلك فامليت للذين كفروا ثم اخذتهم فكيف كان عقاب ٣٢
وَلَقَدِ
ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ
بِرُسُلٖ
مِّن
قَبۡلِكَ
فَأَمۡلَيۡتُ
لِلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
ثُمَّ
أَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ
فَكَيۡفَ
كَانَ
عِقَابِ
٣٢
Y (también) fueron objeto de burlas otros mensajeros que te precedieron (¡oh, Muhammad!). No obstante, los dejé disfrutar por un tiempo y luego Mi castigo se abatió sobre ellos. ¡Y qué terrible fue Mi castigo!

Comforting the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
Allah says to His Messenger, while comforting him in facing his people's denial of him,
وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِىءَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ
`(And indeed (many) Messengers were mocked at before you), so you have a good example in them,
فَأَمْلَيْتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ
