At-Tawbah 9:52 قل هل تربصون بنا الا احدى الحسنيين ونحن نتربص بكم ان يصيبكم الله بعذاب من عنده او بايدينا فتربصوا انا معكم متربصون ٥٢
قُلۡ
هَلۡ
تَرَبَّصُونَ
بِنَآ
إِلَّآ
إِحۡدَى
ٱلۡحُسۡنَيَيۡنِۖ
وَنَحۡنُ
نَتَرَبَّصُ
بِكُمۡ
أَن
يُصِيبَكُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
بِعَذَابٖ
مِّنۡ
عِندِهِۦٓ
أَوۡ
بِأَيۡدِينَاۖ
فَتَرَبَّصُوٓاْ
إِنَّا
مَعَكُم
مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ
٥٢
Diles (a los hipócritas): «¿Acaso esperáis que nos suceda (algo malo, cuando no puede ocurrirnos) salvo una de las dos mejores cosas que hay (la victoria o el martirio)? Nosotros, no obstante, aguardamos a que Al-lah os envíe un castigo o a que caigáis derrotados bajo nuestras manos». Aguardad (a que os llegue vuestro castigo), nosotros también esperamos (que os llegue).

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
قُلْ
(Say), O Muhammad to them,
هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَآ
(Do you wait for us), anything,
إِلاَ إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ
(except one of the two best things), martyrdom or victory over you, according to the meaning given by Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid, Qatadah, and others.
وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ
(while we awai
