Saba 34:54 وحيل بينهم وبين ما يشتهون كما فعل باشياعهم من قبل انهم كانوا في شك مريب ٥٤
وَحِيلَ
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
وَبَيۡنَ

يَشۡتَهُونَ
كَمَا
فُعِلَ
بِأَشۡيَاعِهِم
مِّن
قَبۡلُۚ
إِنَّهُمۡ
كَانُواْ
فِي
شَكّٖ
مُّرِيبِۭ
٥٤
Y se interpondrá una barrera entre ellos y lo que deseaban (la fe y el arrepentimiento)1, como sucedió con anterioridad con la gente como ellos. Realmente, tenían serias dudas (sobre la verdad en la vida terrenal).

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَأُخِذُواْ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
(and they will be seized from a near place.) means, they will not even be given the slightest chance of escape, but they will be seized from the first instant. Al-Hasan Al-Basri said: "When they come forth from their graves."
