Al-Baqarah 2:155 ولنبلونكم بشيء من الخوف والجوع ونقص من الاموال والانفس والثمرات وبشر الصابرين ١٥٥
وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُم
بِشَيۡءٖ
مِّنَ
ٱلۡخَوۡفِ
وَٱلۡجُوعِ
وَنَقۡصٖ
مِّنَ
ٱلۡأَمۡوَٰلِ
وَٱلۡأَنفُسِ
وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِۗ
وَبَشِّرِ
ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
١٥٥
و قطعاً شما را با چیزی از [قبیل] ترس و گرسنگی [= قحطی] و زیان مالی [= نابودی یا دشواریِ کسبِ آن] و جانی [= مرگ و میر یا شهادت] و زیان محصولات [کشاورزی] میآزماییم؛ و [ای پیامبر،] شکیبایان را [به آنچه در دنیا و آخرت برایشان فراهم میآید] بشارت بده؛

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
The Believer is Patient with the Affliction and thus gains a Reward
Allah informs us that He tests and tries His servants, just as He said in another Ayah:
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتَّى نَعْلَمَ الْمُجَـهِدِينَ مِنكُمْ وَالصَّـبِرِينَ وَنَبْلُوَ أَخْبَـرَكُمْ
