Fatir 35:39 هو الذي جعلكم خلايف في الارض فمن كفر فعليه كفره ولا يزيد الكافرين كفرهم عند ربهم الا مقتا ولا يزيد الكافرين كفرهم الا خسارا ٣٩
هُوَ
ٱلَّذِي
جَعَلَكُمۡ
خَلَٰٓئِفَ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
فَمَن
كَفَرَ
فَعَلَيۡهِ
كُفۡرُهُۥۖ
وَلَا
يَزِيدُ
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
كُفۡرُهُمۡ
عِندَ
رَبِّهِمۡ
إِلَّا
مَقۡتٗاۖ
وَلَا
يَزِيدُ
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
كُفۡرُهُمۡ
إِلَّا
خَسَارٗا
٣٩
Jis yra Tas, Kuris padarė jus paveldėtojais kartas po kartų žemėje, taigi kas netiki (islamiškąjį monoteizmą) – jam bus jo netikėjimas. Ir netikinčiųjų netikėjimas neprideda nieko tik jų Viešpaties neapykantą. Ir netikinčiųjų netikėjimas neprideda nieko, tik praradimą. 1

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
هُوَ الَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَـئِفَ فِى الاٌّرْضِ
(He it is Who has made you successors generations after generations in the earth,) meaning, all people succeed one another, generation after generation. This is like the Ayah:
وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ حُلَفَآءَ الاٌّرْضِ
