Ibrahim 14:44 وانذر الناس يوم ياتيهم العذاب فيقول الذين ظلموا ربنا اخرنا الى اجل قريب نجب دعوتك ونتبع الرسل اولم تكونوا اقسمتم من قبل ما لكم من زوال ٤٤
وَأَنذِرِ
ٱلنَّاسَ
يَوۡمَ
يَأۡتِيهِمُ
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
فَيَقُولُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
ظَلَمُواْ
رَبَّنَآ
أَخِّرۡنَآ
إِلَىٰٓ
أَجَلٖ
قَرِيبٖ
نُّجِبۡ
دَعۡوَتَكَ
وَنَتَّبِعِ
ٱلرُّسُلَۗ
أَوَلَمۡ
تَكُونُوٓاْ
أَقۡسَمۡتُم
مِّن
قَبۡلُ
مَا
لَكُم
مِّن
زَوَالٖ
٤٤
Magbabala ka sa mga tao ng isang araw na pupunta sa kanila ang pagdurusa kaya magsasabi ang mga lumabag sa katarungan [dahil sa kawalang-pananampalataya]: “Panginoon namin, mag-antala Ka sa amin hanggang sa isang taning na malapit, sasagot kami sa paanyaya Mo at susunod kami sa mga sugo Mo.” [Magsasabi si Allāh:] “Hindi ba nangyaring kayo ay sumumpa bago pa niyan na wala kayong anumang pagtigil [sa buhay sa Mundo]?

There will be no Respite after the Coming of the Torment
Allah mentions what those who committed injustice against themselves will say when they witness the torment,
رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرْنَآ إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ
(Our Lord! Respite us for a little while, we will answe
