Ibrahim 14:6 واذ قال موسى لقومه اذكروا نعمة الله عليكم اذ انجاكم من ال فرعون يسومونكم سوء العذاب ويذبحون ابناءكم ويستحيون نساءكم وفي ذالكم بلاء من ربكم عظيم ٦
وَإِذۡ
قَالَ
مُوسَىٰ
لِقَوۡمِهِ
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
نِعۡمَةَ
ٱللَّهِ
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
إِذۡ
أَنجَىٰكُم
مِّنۡ
ءَالِ
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
يَسُومُونَكُمۡ
سُوٓءَ
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
وَيُذَبِّحُونَ
أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ
وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ
نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ
وَفِي
ذَٰلِكُم
بَلَآءٞ
مِّن
رَّبِّكُمۡ
عَظِيمٞ
٦
Und damals sprach Moses zu seinem Volk: "Denkt an die Gnade Allahs an euch, als Er euch vor den Leuten Pharaos errettete, die euch mit schlimmer Qual bedrückten, eure Söhne abschlachteten und eure Frauen am Leben ließen; und darin lag eine gewaltige Prüfung von eurem Herrn für euch."

Allah states that Musa reminded his people about Allah's annals anddays and of Allah's favors and bounties that He bestowed on them,when He saved them from Fir` awn and his people and the tormentand disgrace they used to exert on them.
They used to slaughter whomever they could find among their sons
