Ibrahim 14:7 واذ تاذن ربكم لين شكرتم لازيدنكم ولين كفرتم ان عذابي لشديد ٧
وَإِذۡ
تَأَذَّنَ
رَبُّكُمۡ
لَئِن
شَكَرۡتُمۡ
لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمۡۖ
وَلَئِن
كَفَرۡتُمۡ
إِنَّ
عَذَابِي
لَشَدِيدٞ
٧
Och [minns att] er Herre tillkännagav [för er]: 'Om ni visar tacksamhet skall Jag ge er en större [belöning], men om ni visar otacksamhet skall Jag sannerligen ge er ett strängt straff!'”

Allah states that Musa reminded his people about Allah's annals anddays and of Allah's favors and bounties that He bestowed on them,when He saved them from Fir` awn and his people and the tormentand disgrace they used to exert on them.
They used to slaughter whomever they could find among their sons
