Allah created the seven heavens “layer upon layer” with no contradiction or flaw. This is a manifestation of Allah’s mercy. Allah invites the human being to look repeatedly, again and again, highlighting the fact that they will never find any defect.
Guidance
Combining “sight” and “glancing” in the verse, then returning the vision: “Do you see?” highlights that we should not just gaze at the wonders in Allah’s creation, but this should be accompanied by reflection and contemplation. It is a call to use the eye and the mind to observe creation in a way that leads the heart to recognize its Creator. Make it a point to observe Allah’s creation, intentionally accompanied by recitation, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), and Tasbeeh (glorifying Allah, such as saying SubhanAllah, etc.).
