They openly admit their sin, yet this confession will not help them now, so they are cursed and kept far from mercy.
The disbelievers will admit their sins when they see the punishment. Their confession at this point will not benefit them because it comes after proof, warnings, and opportunities were already given.
Guidance
Don’t delay acting on what you know is right. Their regret comes only when consequences are irreversible and irremediable. This teaches us to correct our mistakes early, seek guidance, and change harmful patterns before it is too late to fix the outcome.
Think of a habit or an action you do knowing it is wrong. Take proactive steps to stop it before it is too late, when redemption will no longer be possible.
