If Allah stopped providing for us, whether through a drought or other means, none other than Allah can bring humanity sustenance. It is a reminder that we are all entirely dependent on Allah’s mercy and His generosity. Yet those who deny His signs fail to recognise that they rebel against the very Creator who continues to sustain their needs. It is an attitude borne out of arrogance and aversion to the truth.
Guidance
Do not become over-anxious about your wealth, for Allah is the Ultimate Provider and Sustainer. This verse also connects with the opening of the Surah, ‘the One in Whose Hand is the dominion, and He is over all things fully capable’ (67:1), illustrating one of the many manifestations of Allah’s power and control.
