The Human Being in the Quran: Purpose, Soul, and Responsibility

Duration

Each short lesson takes less than 10 minutes to complete. 8 lessons total.

Description

This 8-lesson Learning Plan is an English-adapted summary of Ar-Ru’yah Al-kulliyah Lil-Insan fi Huda Al-Quran Al-karim by Prof. Dr. Taha Abidin Taha Hamad. The plan draws from the book’s central aim: to understand the human being through revelation, not through incomplete theories detached from the Creator.

Through these lessons, you will be able to reflect on the human being’s origin, honor, responsibility, body, spirit, soul, fitrah, desire, will, hearing, sight, heart, intellect, life stages, inner diseases, and return to Allah. The plan presents a complete Quranic vision of the human being that can guide self-reform, education, parenting, da‘wah, psychology, and social life.
