Al-Baqarah 2:225 لا يواخذكم الله باللغو في ايمانكم ولاكن يواخذكم بما كسبت قلوبكم والله غفور حليم ٢٢٥
لَّا
يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
بِٱللَّغۡوِ
فِيٓ
أَيۡمَٰنِكُمۡ
وَلَٰكِن
يُؤَاخِذُكُم
بِمَا
كَسَبَتۡ
قُلُوبُكُمۡۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
غَفُورٌ
حَلِيمٞ
٢٢٥
Allah tidak mengira kamu bersalah tentang sumpah kamu yang tidak dimaksudkan (untuk bersumpah), tetapi Ia mengira kamu bersalah (dan akan mengenakan hukuman) dengan sebab sumpah yang diusahakan (disengajakan) oleh hati kamu (dengan niat bersumpah). Dan (ingatlah), Allah Maha Pengampun, lagi Maha Penyabar.

The Prohibition of swearing to abandon a Good Deed
Allah commands, `You should not implement your vows in Allah's Name to refrain from pious acts and severing the relations with the relatives, if you swear to abandon such causes.' Allah said in another Ayah:
