Al-An'am 6:109 واقسموا بالله جهد ايمانهم لين جاءتهم اية ليومنن بها قل انما الايات عند الله وما يشعركم انها اذا جاءت لا يومنون ١٠٩
وَأَقۡسَمُواْ
بِٱللَّهِ
جَهۡدَ
أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
لَئِن
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
ءَايَةٞ
لَّيُؤۡمِنُنَّ
بِهَاۚ
قُلۡ
إِنَّمَا
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتُ
عِندَ
ٱللَّهِۖ
وَمَا
يُشۡعِرُكُمۡ
أَنَّهَآ
إِذَا
جَآءَتۡ
لَا
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
١٠٩
E juraram, por Allah, com seus mais solenes juramentos que, se lhes chegasse um sinal certamente, nele creriam. Dize: "Os sinais estão, apenas, junto de Allah." E o que vos faz pressenti-lo1 que quando ele lhes chegar, não crerão?

Asking for Miracles and Swearing to Believe if They Come
Allah states that the idolators swore their strongest oaths by Allah,
لَئِن جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَةٌ
(that if there came to them a sign...) a miracle or phenomenon,
لَّيُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهَا
(they would surely believe therein.) affirming its truth,
قُلْ إِ
