Al-Hijr 15:27 والجان خلقناه من قبل من نار السموم ٢٧
وَٱلۡجَآنَّ
خَلَقۡنَٰهُ
مِن
قَبۡلُ
مِن
نَّارِ
ٱلسَّمُومِ
٢٧
Antes dele, havíamos criado os gênios de fogo puríssimo.

Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid and Qatadah said that Salsal means dry mud. The apparent meaning is similar to the Ayah:
