Ibrahim 14:44 وانذر الناس يوم ياتيهم العذاب فيقول الذين ظلموا ربنا اخرنا الى اجل قريب نجب دعوتك ونتبع الرسل اولم تكونوا اقسمتم من قبل ما لكم من زوال ٤٤
وَأَنذِرِ
ٱلنَّاسَ
يَوۡمَ
يَأۡتِيهِمُ
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
فَيَقُولُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
ظَلَمُواْ
رَبَّنَآ
أَخِّرۡنَآ
إِلَىٰٓ
أَجَلٖ
قَرِيبٖ
نُّجِبۡ
دَعۡوَتَكَ
وَنَتَّبِعِ
ٱلرُّسُلَۗ
أَوَلَمۡ
تَكُونُوٓاْ
أَقۡسَمۡتُم
مِّن
قَبۡلُ
مَا
لَكُم
مِّن
زَوَالٖ
٤٤
E admoesta os homens de que, um dia, o castigo lhes chegará; então, os que foram injustos dirão: "Senhor nosso! Concede-nos prazo, até um termo próximo, nós atenderemos Tua convocação e seguiremos os Mensageiros." Dir-se-lhes-á: "Não jurastes, antes, que jamais deixaríeis a terra?"1

There will be no Respite after the Coming of the Torment
Allah mentions what those who committed injustice against themselves will say when they witness the torment,
رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرْنَآ إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ
