Ar-Ra'd 13:32 ولقد استهزي برسل من قبلك فامليت للذين كفروا ثم اخذتهم فكيف كان عقاب ٣٢
وَلَقَدِ
ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ
بِرُسُلٖ
مِّن
قَبۡلِكَ
فَأَمۡلَيۡتُ
لِلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
ثُمَّ
أَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ
فَكَيۡفَ
كَانَ
عِقَابِ
٣٢
edhe me të dërguarit para teje kanë bërë tallje. Porse Unë atyre që nuk besuan u pata dhënë afat, pastaj i ndëshkova (me dënim), e çfarë ishte dënimi Im!

Allah says to His Messenger, while comforting him in facing his people's denial of him,
وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِىءَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ
`(And indeed (many) Messengers were mocked at before you), so you have a good example in them,
فَأَمْلَيْتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ
