At-Tawbah 9:24 قل ان كان اباوكم وابناوكم واخوانكم وازواجكم وعشيرتكم واموال اقترفتموها وتجارة تخشون كسادها ومساكن ترضونها احب اليكم من الله ورسوله وجهاد في سبيله فتربصوا حتى ياتي الله بامره والله لا يهدي القوم الفاسقين ٢٤
قُلۡ
إِن
كَانَ
ءَابَآؤُكُمۡ
وَأَبۡنَآؤُكُمۡ
وَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡ
وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ
وَعَشِيرَتُكُمۡ
وَأَمۡوَٰلٌ
ٱقۡتَرَفۡتُمُوهَا
وَتِجَٰرَةٞ
تَخۡشَوۡنَ
كَسَادَهَا
وَمَسَٰكِنُ
تَرۡضَوۡنَهَآ
أَحَبَّ
إِلَيۡكُم
مِّنَ
ٱللَّهِ
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
وَجِهَادٖ
فِي
سَبِيلِهِۦ
فَتَرَبَّصُواْ
حَتَّىٰ
يَأۡتِيَ
ٱللَّهُ
بِأَمۡرِهِۦۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
لَا
يَهۡدِي
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
٢٤
Thuaj: “Nëse etërit tuaj, bijtë tuaj, vëllezërit tuaj, gratë tuaja, farefisi juaj, pasuria juaj që e keni fituar, tregtia për të cilën keni frikë se nuk do të shkojë mirë dhe shtëpitë ku e ndieni veten rehat, janë më të dashura për ju sesa Allahu, i Dërguari i Tij dhe lufta në rrugën e Tij, atëherë pritni derisa Allahu të sjellë vendimin (dënimin) e Tij. Allahu nuk e udhëzon në rrugën e drejtë popullin e pabindur.”

The Prohibition of taking the Idolators as Supporters, even with Relatives
Allah commands shunning the disbelievers, even if they are one's parents or children, and prohibits taking them as supporters if they choose disbelief instead of faith. Allah warns,
