Az-Zukhruf 43:22 بل قالوا انا وجدنا اباءنا على امة وانا على اثارهم مهتدون ٢٢
بَلۡ
قَالُوٓاْ
إِنَّا
وَجَدۡنَآ
ءَابَآءَنَا
عَلَىٰٓ
أُمَّةٖ
وَإِنَّا
عَلَىٰٓ
ءَاثَٰرِهِم
مُّهۡتَدُونَ
٢٢
Không! Chúng thường bảo: “Bọn ta thấy cha ông của bọn ta theo một tôn giáo nào đó nên bọn ta đi theo dấu chân của họ.”

The Idolators have no Proof
Allah condemns the idolators for worshipping others instead of Allah with no evidence or proof for doing so.
أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَـهُمْ كِتَـباً مِّن قَبْلِهِ
(Or have We given them any Book before this) means, before their idolatry.
فَهُم بِهِ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ
(to which they are hold
