Fussilat 41:17 واما ثمود فهديناهم فاستحبوا العمى على الهدى فاخذتهم صاعقة العذاب الهون بما كانوا يكسبون ١٧
وَأَمَّا
ثَمُودُ
فَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡ
فَٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ
ٱلۡعَمَىٰ
عَلَى
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمۡ
صَٰعِقَةُ
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
ٱلۡهُونِ
بِمَا
كَانُواْ
يَكۡسِبُونَ
١٧
またわれはサムード（の民）を，導いた。だがかれらは導きよりも，盲目の方を良いとした。それで，かれらが稼いでいた（行いの）ために，不面目な懲罰の落雷がかれらを襲った。

Còn đối với Thamud (đám dân của Saleh). TA đã hướng dẫn chúng nhưng chúng thích sự mù quáng (lầm lạc) hơn sự hướng dẫn. Vì vậy, tia sét của hình phạt ô nhục đã đánh chúng bởi những tội lỗi mà chúng đã làm.
