Fussilat 41:17 واما ثمود فهديناهم فاستحبوا العمى على الهدى فاخذتهم صاعقة العذاب الهون بما كانوا يكسبون ١٧
وَأَمَّا
ثَمُودُ
فَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡ
فَٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ
ٱلۡعَمَىٰ
عَلَى
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمۡ
صَٰعِقَةُ
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
ٱلۡهُونِ
بِمَا
كَانُواْ
يَكۡسِبُونَ
١٧
Còn về (người dân) Thamud. TA đã hướng dẫn chúng nhưng chúng thích sự mù quáng (của con tim) hơn là Chỉ Đạo sáng sủa. Bởi thế, lưỡi tầm sét của sự trừng phạt nhục nhã đã đánh chúng vì những điều (tội lỗi) mà chúng đã làm ra.
