Ya-Sin 36:39 والقمر قدرناه منازل حتى عاد كالعرجون القديم ٣٩
وَٱلۡقَمَرَ
قَدَّرۡنَٰهُ
مَنَازِلَ
حَتَّىٰ
عَادَ
كَٱلۡعُرۡجُونِ
ٱلۡقَدِيمِ
٣٩
また、月も。われら*はそれが（細い三日月から満月となり、再び）古い茎[1]のように戻り行くまで、（毎晩の）その諸々の宿り場を定めた。 1

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Among the Signs of the Might and Power of Allah are the Night and Day, and the Sun and Moon
يُغْشِى الَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا
(He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly) (7:54). Allah says here:
