Yunus 10:19 وما كان الناس الا امة واحدة فاختلفوا ولولا كلمة سبقت من ربك لقضي بينهم فيما فيه يختلفون ١٩
وَمَا
كَانَ
ٱلنَّاسُ
إِلَّآ
أُمَّةٗ
وَٰحِدَةٗ
فَٱخۡتَلَفُواْۚ
وَلَوۡلَا
كَلِمَةٞ
سَبَقَتۡ
مِن
رَّبِّكَ
لَقُضِيَ
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
فِيمَا
فِيهِ
يَخۡتَلِفُونَ

İnsanlar (əvvəlcə) ancaq tək bir ümmət idilər (eyni bir dində idilər). Sonra (aralarında ixtilaf düşdüyü üçün) ayrıldılar. Əgər Rəbbin tərədindən öncə bir söz (ilahi hökm, təqdir) olmasaydı (sorğu-sual və cəza qiyamətə saxlanılmasaydı), ixtilafda olduqları məsələlər barəsində aralarında dərhal hökm verilmişdi.
