Yunus 10:42 ومنهم من يستمعون اليك افانت تسمع الصم ولو كانوا لا يعقلون ٤٢
وَمِنۡهُم
مَّن
يَسۡتَمِعُونَ
إِلَيۡكَۚ
أَفَأَنتَ
تُسۡمِعُ
ٱلصُّمَّ
وَلَوۡ
كَانُواْ
لَا
يَعۡقِلُونَ
٤٢
Det finns de bland dem som [låtsas] lyssna till dig; men kan du få de döva att höra, fastän de inte vill använda sitt förstånd

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
The Command to be Free and Clear from the Idolators
Allah said to His Prophet : `If these idolators belie you, then be clear from them and their deeds.'
فَقُل لِّى عَمَلِى وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ
(Say: "For me are my deeds and for you are your deeds!") Similarly, Allah said:
قُلْ يأَيُّهَا الْكَـفِرُونَ -
